Founded in1962 by Richard Conway Senior to serve local authorities across Surrey, Grasstexhas spent over six decades building a reputation for reliability, quality, and long-term client relationships.

Our Services

Scheduled Grounds Maintenance

Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, bed care, litter picking, hard surface edging, and seasonal works — delivered through a structured, seasonally adjusted programme. All visits are logged, all work documented, and all compliance evidenced.

Sports Turf Management

Pitch preparation, line marking, aeration, scarification, overseeding, and top-dressing for football, cricket, rugby, and multi-use surfaces. We maintain playing surfaces for clubs, councils, schools, and private facilities across the region — including county standard and international facilities.

Cemetery & Memorial Services

Respectful, sensitive grounds care for cemeteries and memorial spaces. Our qualified team provides routine maintenance, monument stability testing and recording, internments, and safe excavation — carried out with the professionalism and compassion these environments deserve.

Vegetation & Habitat Management

Ecologically informed clearance and management that actively supports biodiversity. We adjust cutting schedules to protect nesting birds, retain wildflower zones where appropriate, and use selective methods to preserve beneficial species — fully aligned with client sustainability and biodiversity strategies including the West Sussex Greenprint programme.

Highway Services

Verge mowing, grip cutting, drainage maintenance, sightline improvements, road sign cleaning, and vegetation control — carried out by Lantra-qualified operatives in a fully Chapter 8 compliant fleet. We have delivered highway contracts across the South East for over 40 years.
